Dr. Okorie-Eugene, Nnenna

HOD

Dr. Okorie-Eugene, Nnenna is a Licensed and Registered Nurse Educator, with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN); a Fellow of the West African Post- Graduate College of Nursing and Midwifery (FWAPGCNM).

She is both Academic and Nursing professional practitioner, with extensive knowledge in Nursing, Midwifery and Environmental Health. She has contributed immensely in both academic and professional development of student nurses and midwives.

Dr. Okorie-Eugene, Nnenna is also a resource personnel of the West African Post- Graduate College of Nursing and Midwifery, and has advanced healthcare practices through research and Community Outreach programmes.

With over 20 years of experience in Nursing; both in academic and clinical practices, she has taught student-nurses and coordinated many Reproductive Health Programmes.

She was for many years an examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She was a member of the Accreditation Team of the Council; and was a member of the Council's Committee for the Curriculum Design, Research both at the local and national levels. Dr. Okorie-Eugene, Nnenna was Ag. Head of School of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

Presently, Dr. Okorie-Eugene, Nnenna is Ag. Head of Nursing Science, Faculty of Nursing, (Department of Maternal and Child Health), Caleb University, Imota, Lagos where she is actively engaged in teaching, Administration, Nursing Programme coordination and Leadership
