The Department of Public Law focuses on the legal principles governing the relationship between the state and its citizens, as well as the structure and operation of government itself. The curriculum provides a deep analysis of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights Law, Criminal Law, and International Law.

Dr Itunu Kolade-Faseyi

Dr Itunu Kolade-Faseyi is a Senior Lecturer at the College of Law, Caleb University, Lagos State, Nigeria where she teaches Family Law, Criminal Law, Nigerian Legal System, Law, Ethics & Leadership as well as the Nigerian Legal Method at the undergraduate level.

In about seventeen years of being called to the Nigerian Bar, the purpose-driven and result-oriented Dr. Kolade-Faseyi‘s cognate experience spans legal advocacy, legal research, teaching, university administration, and community service.

Her area of research focus is Gender and the law with particular bias for Women and children. At the moment, she has about 26 peer-reviewed academic articles published in reputable journals which are accessible online.

Dr Itunu who enjoys travelling, sightseeing, and reading novels is married with two adorable children
