Caleb University\'s 15th Convocation - Hooding
Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, on February 17, 2026, organised a hooding ceremony for its latest set of doctoral students.
The event, held at the University’s Multipurpose Hall, was put together to celebrate the academic achievements of 24 individuals who successfully completed their PhD programmes in various fields across the institution’s nine colleges.
A hooding ceremony is a significant academic tradition in varsities across the world, often part of convocation, where a faculty advisor or mentor places an academic hood over a graduate's head to symbolise the completion of their advanced degree and transition to a scholarly colleague.
