Experts to X-ray 2025 budget at Caleb University’s 2nd webinar series

The Centre for Political Issues and Political Thought, Caleb University, Lagos, will host its second webinar series on Thursday, February 27, 2028.

The webinar titled: “Nigeria’s 2025 Budget and Socio-Economic Development Agenda: The Way Forward,” will feature a professor of Development Economics/Development Finance at the University of South Africa, Rauf Aregbesola, and Dr. Abiodun Adedipe of BAA Consult, Lagos, as keynote speakers.
Also expected at the event are members of the teaching and non-teaching staff at the university.
President Bola Tinubu presented the 2025 budget estimate of N49.7 trillion to the joint session of the National Assembly in November last year.
The president raised the appropriation bill to N54.2 trillion in a letter to the National Assembly on February 5.
After weeks of deliberations, the Senate and House of Representatives passed the budget proposal on February 13.
