1. Regional Officer (RO)
Reports to: Head of Admissions / Director of Outreach / Vice Chancellor
■ A. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Student Scouting & Intelligence
Identify and map/target fee-paying secondary schools and coaching centres within the assigned region.
👉 Analyse regional demographics to pinpoint areas with high potential enrolment yield.
Maintain a database of prospective students (name, grades, interests, exam scores).
👉Outreach & “Wooing” Programmes
Organise and execute on-ground events: career fairs, university open days, school assemblies, and parent-teacher meetings.
Design and deliver persuasive presentations showcasing the university’s USPs (unique selling points), scholarships, and campus life.
Build relationships with school counsellors, principals, and local education influencers.
Coordinate taster sessions, alumni meet-ups, and faculty-led workshops in the region.
👉Admission Support
Guide prospective students through the application process (form filling, document submission, deadline management).
Coordinate entrance exam centres or interview schedules within the region.
👉Follow up on leads (calls, emails, WhatsApp) to convert inquiries into applications.
Reporting & Logistics
Submit weekly reports on outreach activities, lead generation, and conversion rates.
Manage the regional office budget for events and travel.
Liaise with the central admissions office to align messaging and quotas.

Criteria
Minimum Requirement
Education
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in any field
👉Experience
3–5 years in student recruitment, sales, public relations, or event management (education sector preferred)
👉Skills
Excellent public speaking & presentation; proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot); data analysis; negotiation
Attributes
Willingness to travel 50–70% of work time; self-starter; culturally sensitive; persuasive yet ethical
Language
Fluency in English + dominant local language(s)
■ C. Other Necessaries (Resources & Tools)
Travel: Reimbursed mileage + accommodation budget
Tech: Laptop with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva), smartphone with CRM app
Collateral: Brochures, banners, giveaway items (pens, notebooks), video testimonials
Data Security: Signed confidentiality agreement regarding student data
Training: Annual workshop on ethical recruitment and admission policy updates

Reports to: Regional Officer

Administrative Support
Manage office phone line and email inbox; respond or route inquiries
Schedule RO’s travel, appointments, and school visits
Prepare and send bulk correspondence (invitations, reminders, thank-you notes)
Data & Record Keeping
Enter lead data into CRM from forms, cards, and event sheets
Organise and file physical documents
Generate simple reports (weekly student contacts, pending follow-ups)
Event Logistics
Coordinate vendors for venues, catering, sound systems, and printing
Manage outreach materials inventory
Assist with event registration and crowd management
Financial Tasks
Process petty cash reimbursements
Prepare purchase requisitions
👉B. Required Qualifications
Criteria
Minimum Requirement
Education
High school diploma + Office Administration certificate (Associate degree preferred)
👉Experience
1–2 years in front desk, reception, or data entry
Skills
Typing speed 40+ WPM; proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace; basic CRM data entry
Attributes
Organised, discreet, polite, deadline-driven
Language
Fluent in English and regional language
