Graduates leave equipped with the foundational rigour and the practical skills the field demands.
- Master human biology. Explain the structure and function of the human body across anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.
- Investigate disease mechanisms. Describe the cellular and molecular basis of common diseases and their physiological effects.
- Perform laboratory techniques. Conduct core biomedical laboratory procedures safely and interpret the results.
- Apply the scientific method. Design experiments, analyse biomedical data, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Bridge to clinical practice. Relate basic science to diagnosis, treatment, and the wider health sciences.
- Communicate scientific findings. Present biomedical information clearly to specialist and lay audiences.
