- Master legal principles. Explain the foundations of Nigerian law across public and constitutional law.
- Apply public law. Analyse constitutional, administrative, and human-rights law in practice.
- Reason legally. Apply legal reasoning and statutory and case-law interpretation to problems.
- Draft and advocate. Prepare legal documents and construct sound legal arguments.
- Conduct legal research. Locate, evaluate, and apply legal authorities to legal questions.

How you'll be assessed.
Moot court & legal drafting
Moot court, legal-drafting exercises, and a long essay are assessed alongside written examinations.
External examiners
In line with NUC requirements, qualified academics from other universities moderate examinations and assess final-year projects.
NUC CCMAS compliance
Assessment follows the National Universities Commission's Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards for the discipline.
